Lauren Collins joined C.A. Goldberg, PLLC as an Associate Attorney in 2024. Her passion for fighting for victims as a Prosecutor led her to our firm, where she works with victims of stalking, harassment, sexual assault and image-based sexual abuse.
Prior to joining our firm, Lauren served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, where she received extensive courtroom experience as lead counsel. As a Prosecutor, she handled sensitive casework in an array of criminal matters involving sexual misconduct and abuse, assault, stalking, harassment, endangering the welfare of a child, forcible touching, and image-based sexual abuse. Lauren is a passionate advocate who does not fear or back down from a courtroom fight.
Lauren earned her Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law. While at St. John’s, she held leadership positions on the Executive Board of the Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute (PTAI) and the International Law Students Association (ILSA). Lauren remains active with PTAI through coaching current law students in courtroom advocacy and evaluating competitions. Prior to law school, Lauren received her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Cortland, where she majored in musical theatre and minored in communications.
Lauren is admitted to practice law in New York.
