C.A. GOLDBERG, PLLC IS SEEKING AN INTAKE COORDINATOR!

C. A. Goldberg, PLLC is a Brooklyn-based victims’ rights law firm that handles privacy violations, harassment, abuse, and wrongful death. Our firm leads the way in holding individuals, employers, schools, and big tech accountable for the harms they cause.

The Intake Coordinator (IC) is the first point of contact for those who reach out to our firm for legal help. The IC is in charge of filtering cases to make sure we are a good fit for the prospective client and vice versa. The Intake Coordinator’s main job is to follow up with leads and potential new clients, to screen out matters that are not a fit and to onboard new clients. It is critical that the Intake Coordinator be willing to pick up the phone and follow up with perspective clients!

Experience required –

Necessary: At least 1-2 years in sales and/or customer service

Ideally: Intake at a law firm or similar organization

 

This is currently a partly remote position, with 2-3 days required in our Downtown Brooklyn office. The candidate should be prepared to return full-time to the office if necessary.

 

You must be:

· Great on the phone;

· Persistent and unrelenting about follow-up;

· Compulsive about data capturing and record keeping;

· Comfortable with tech (you’ll be using our CRM a lot);

· A great multitasker who knows how to prioritize and evaluate for urgency;

· Assertive and able to maintain good boundaries;

· Able to stay calm and professional when dealing with people in crisis;

· The kind of person who sees something that needs doing and does it;

· Able to handle difficult subject matter (we handle abuse and wrongful death cases).

Key responsibilities include:

· Conducting scheduled and unscheduled intake calls (you will be trained and will follow established procedures);

· Screening incoming potential clients to make sure their case falls within the scope of the firm, while helping the caller feel heard and understood;

· Maintaining inbox of client inquiries in practice management software and responding to inquiries or forwarding to the relevant staff member;

· Following-up with leads, undecided PNCs (potential new clients), managing PNC expectations, and

serving as a point of contact prior to a case evaluation;

· Maintaining meticulous records in practice management software to reflect all PNC and new client activity;

· Collaboration to increase conversion rates and PNC and client satisfaction;

· Assembling and mailing welcome packages to new clients;

· Maintaining the office and preserving a well-organized working environment for employees and client visitors, including helping to monitor and replenish office supplies as needed;

· Being the go-to person on the ground if a vendor needs access to our office;

· Providing feedback to management to help evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing campaigns

 

This is a full-time position working a hybrid of remote and in-person. Salary Range: $40-55k DOE
