C.A. Goldberg, PLLC fights for targets of stalking, sexual assault and blackmail – online and off. The firm handles very sensitive matters that require urgent and judicious action from the Admin and Intake Assistant. A calming presence – Our clients are in distress and you are their first point of contact. We need your communication to be refined, precise, and tactful.
Coping skills – Exposure to disturbing information and sexually graphic material is a regular part of the job. You must be self-contained and emotionally mature.
Creative and proactive – we really do want to know your ideas on how to improve things. Don’t be afraid to speak up!
Consistent delivery – meeting goals is super important to you. This role is a integral part of the office’s ecosystem and you understand how completing smaller, not-so-glam tasks on time directly advances the firm’s mission to help people who are under attack.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE
Nobody with a law degree or who is planning to go to law school will be considered. This is not a stepping stone job to be on our legal team. We need somebody whose goal is to make our office run optimally.
It is more important to us that you have the skills for the job than that you are passionate about our practice area. The person in this role will be asked to demonstrate their administrative competency every single day. But even if you have less than 1.5 years of office experience – still apply! We are happy to teach early-career candidates who have the right qualities and natural abilities, i.e. a quick learner with a team player attitude!
