Client’s Stalker Arrested and Charged by DOJ for Cyberstalking

The Department of Justice issued a press release detailing the alarming events that led to the arrest and charge of our client’s stalker.

After writing a piece that worked through the aftermath of a traumatic sexual encounter she had with the offender when she was just 12 and he was 17, the offender launched into a fraught and brutal stalking campaign against her that lasted over a year.

This morning he was charged with one count of cyberstalking and one count of making an interstate threat.

We are grateful for the coordinated efforts of the FBI and Department of Justice on the arrest. Amazing work by our Managing Senior Associate, Aurore DeCarlo, who was the lead attorney on the case.
